Mark Peters is Professor of Paediatric Intensive Care at UCL Great Ormond St, Institute of Child Health and has been a Consultant Intensivist at GOSH PICU since 1999. From a background in Immunobiology, his research interests are now pragmatic clinical trials. He was Chief Investigator on the recent Oxy-PICU trial and via PCCS-SG helped establish the network that has delivered the SCARF, FEVER, FiSh, FIRST-ABC and is working on PRESSURE and GASTRIC. 

He has published >210 peer-reviewed papers cited >36000 times with an h-index of 67. He is Co-Chair of the Surviving Sepsis Children campaign and deputy chair of the NIHR HTA General Funding Committee.
